  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns, brioche or your favorite

Instructions

  1. Prep the Chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry. If thick, pound to 1/2 inch thickness.
  2. Season the Chicken: Combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Rub all over chicken.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5-7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. Rest the Chicken: Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing or shredding.
  5. Slice or Shred: Slice or shred chicken.
  6. Cook the Bacon: Place bacon in a cold skillet, turn heat to medium. Cook, turning occasionally, until crispy (8-10 minutes).
  7. Drain the Bacon: Drain bacon on paper towels.
